Prestige Leisure Tours and Josef Chromy Wines are proud to be able to offer you this exclusive tour.

Visit the breathtaking Josef Chromy Vineyard in Relbia. Be greeted by your amicable host, Curly Haslam-Coates. Curly will take you for a walk through the picture perfect vines and discuss pruning, ripening of the fruit, important aspects affecting quality of the fruit, and seasonal changes in the vineyard.

From there, it is over to the production facility, where you can view the numerous stainless steel tanks, the French Oak barrels, and the bottling area. This is the hub of the vineyard where all the great wines are produced. This can all be seen from a safe viewing platform.

Curly will then offer you a taste of the wines, direct from the winery. This tasting is done in a private area with viewing areas of the winery and magnificent views over the lake and vines. Learn about the different stages of fermentation and taste the difference in younger wines and more mature wines.

You will then be taken to the magnificent Josef Chromy Café / Cellar Door. Enjoy the best seats in the house or relax in the Josef's Private Dining Room.

We are able to offer you two lunch options:

OPTION 1: Wine & Food Tasting Flight (Josef's Tasting Plate)
A selection of seasonal Tasmanian delicacies served tapas style and matched with wines from the Josef Chromy range. Round off the experience with an assiette of desserts and Tasmanian cheeses matched with wine.

OPTION 2: Choose from the a la carte menu and select seasonal Tasmanian produce for your main course, followed by their famous Crème Brulee or Tasmanian cheese plate.

ABOUT Curly Haslam-Coates:

Curly is from the United Kingdom and has a Diploma in Wine and Spirits. Prior to this she received an award for the Advanced Certificate in Wine and Spirits from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust in the UK. She has a particular interest in cool climate wines and more than a passing interest in Sparkling wines. Curly is very passionate about the wines at Josef Chromy Wines and would love to share her knowledge and expertise with the private guests on our tour.
